What is 20XXpo?

We are THE Mega Man Fan eXpo, a celebration of the Blue Bomber by the fans, for the fans!

20XXpo is a yearly Mega Man fan convention in the Seattle area, packed with games, music, guests, cosplay, and the 72-hour Mega Man-athon.

Who we are

20XXpo is run by LemonAID Events: Michelle Belcher and Jarrett Burns, the Event Directors behind Mega Man-athon and magFAST at MAGFest. 20XXpo brings that experience to the Pacific Northwest.

Built by the community

In May 2026, 611 backers pledged $106,294 on Kickstarter to make 20XXpo happen, blowing past our $87,000 goal. Thank you!

Playing for a good cause

Mega Man-athon has a history of supporting Child's Play, the Seattle-based charity that puts games in the hands of kids in children's hospitals. We plan to keep playing for them at 20XXpo.

Why 2027?

Because 40 years only happens once. Anniversaries are momentum moments. They unite generations. They remind us why we fell in love with these games in the first place.

The Mega Man community is still strong. Speedrunners, musicians, remixers, cosplayers, collectors, and retro gamers are thriving.

20XXpo isn't just nostalgia. It's a celebration of legacy and what's next.
